I have been having problems thought that it may have been from PCA or Virgin but tried Taskmanager and I noticed that the A2guard.exe was using about 40-45% of the CPU every time that I went to a new page.
Not sure if you meant scripting or not but went into Tools.Developers tools.disable and turned of Script and things are back to normal.
So not sure if anything was interfering with the script on the page or not.

What a difference with that script turned off.
Just wondering could it be an Internet Explorer problem.
Maybe try a different browser to see what happens.

Looks like its a Browser incompatibilty Problem. Not had this before. They must have been changing things. as it seems to be working okay in IE8
