Application error in Outlook Express

When I close outlook express more often than not I get an error message:

msimn.exe - Application error

The instruction at "0x77f83905" referenced memory at "0x009a47e0". The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program.

I thought by closing it down it was terminated

I click on OK and continue as normal. This message is very annoying.

It's Outlook Express 6, Windows XP (home) with 512Mb ram.

Any thoughts/solutions gratefully received.

There are quite a few of us trying to find the answer to this, even Microsoft, though they do offer a couple of suggestions, each one leads to the type of anti-virus one is using. j.
