AOL sign off vs exit

Using AOL 8 BB. What is the diference if any in "sign off" and "exit"

Well with BB there is no 'off' unless turning off you modem..

With the aol program sign off means the aol program stays on and you can sign on as someone else, with exit the actual program exits..

I don't think there is any real difference, it might be that the sign off keeps your AOL open but offline whilst the exit shuts AOL down completely.
I'll have to take a look next tine I sign fact I'll do it now.

Yup thats exactly the case, the exit chosen from will take you to the sign off screen where you have the choice to sign off or exit from the drop down menu top left.

There is another side to the coin, some e-mail settings cannot be altered whilst you are on line you have to sign off to adjust your settings
