I hope someone out here can help. I recently changed my ISP to Aol Gold using my existing router (solwise:Sar110)I have tried configuring the router but it seems to be of line, my ppp-0 status is down. I have followed the instuctons given to me by my previous ISP to configure the router but not having any joy. Has anyone had this problem?I am having to use the modem at the moment-not my prefered method of connection as I have 2 other pc's link via a hub.

AOL will only work with recomended routers,go to keyword broadband.

Its usually possible to access the router via IE,typing the routers IP address in the http bar.

eg= http : 192.168.0.1

(this is my routers cfg' address)

Thanks for that guys but Aol did tell me that my router will work but because its not suppoerted by Aol they can't give me technical support on how to set the router up. I can access my router via IE but I am not able to set my ppp-0 configuration.

This explains all about cfg'ing your router(although not specifically your router,the settings will be similar)

I had a quick read thru this page,and I think your router is trying to tell you the IP addy for your LAN is conflicting with another IP addy elsewhere(its just a guess tho')
