This usually means that you're having problems with your Internet Service Provider (your Domain Name System (DNS) entries may not be set up properly).

Regarding this and your USB problem. Have you recently Reformatted the HD, Reinstalled Windows or done some other major work to your PC?

Yes... problems here entering MS Technet etc today. My first thought was to clear the DNS cache etc but that made no difference. Seems OK now.
