My image file's are corrupted read click here but the PC Inspector does not do CD-R, they expect to bring one out shortly. I'm looking for a free recovery program that'll do CD-R, if I've got to pay $40 I may as well take it to a shop and have an O/S put back on. TR

Google is your friend...click here

Most of the free programmes are OK but you need a pay for version to do any serious undeleting.

I did a google but they are all trial versions or previews that won't let you save the recovered data and then burn it to a new disc. TR

Downloaded and tried that, but you have to pay before you can save what it's recovered. I've decided to take it in tomorrow and format it and re-install either the image or 98SE. Thanks for all help offered, TR
