At present I am using Bullguard anti virus and it is almost time to renew it.But I was wondering whether or not to try something else my son has Kaspersky has anyone any ideas about what I could try.

I have Avast on one computer and Eset on the other, and Eset just comes out on top as it will block spam e-mails.

If you bank with Barclays Kapersky is still free from them as far as I know.

If you are thinking of paying any of those top 2 are very good.

Ponytail, an AV comparison/testing website is always a good place to start. AV-TEST is a well-respected place to see how various products performed in real-world testing. Choose the latest report for your version of Windows.

Bin using free Microsoft Security Essentials ever since it came out and have never had a virus (touching wood!).

Should have added it does not ask you for credit card details.I suppose that was just for the internet security suite.
