Which anti virus is best AVG, Norton, Norman, Panda or Mc Afee. Does anybody know of any good spam and ad. blocking software. I am now trying the trial version of Norton Internet Security. It has the lot but I have had a problem sending E-mails since I installed it. I can E-mails recieve OK. It seems to have slowed my computer down a lot.

Get rid of it.It chews up so many system resources and is just a pain. AVG is perfect for me and using Sygate or Zone Alarm as a firewall is sufficient in my opinion and reading other views on these topics

I agree that they are all just about equally as good.
I've tried Norton and it does tend to use a lot of system resources.

AVG if free and does a great job - just ensure that you check the 'use heuristics' check box.
Otherwise all it's defaults are fine.
