Are the above slots for just modems. If not what else can you put in the slots. if it is just for modems what is the advantage over a pci modem. why have them.

I do believe they can be used with a network riser card also, but a primarily for a cheap modem they use the onboard chip

PS you also have to use the appropriate Port driver on the Motherboard CD or you will never get it to be recognised

PS you can get them from Maplin Electronics, They are a standard socket as is a PCI one
