AMD Athlon XP's and Bus Speeds

I was wondering if it is really worth having 33DDR RAM in a AMD XP system when the CPU's (unless you've got a XP2600+) still run at 266FSB. Is the performance really any better than 266DDR memory in these systems and are systems slower compared to the 400 and 533FSB on the intel mobo's?

not unless you unlock the chip. once you have unlocked the chip you can drop the multiplier down and raise the fsb. the disadvantage is that you will also push up the agp / pci unless you can cap them with your board.
