Allocating Storage

Having spent the evening creating a data partition on my system drive, as well as one for the OS, the thought occurred to me that I could have a third partition, just for program files. Would this be practical, or would it create problems in the future?

It would create problems. programmes usually write entries to the Windows system files on c: anyway.

I'd best leave well alone then. Thanks for the advice.
