All in one Motherboard

Hi all,

I'm looking for an all in one mother board, to upgrade a pc belonging to my daughters Guide leader.

Her pc is between 4-5 years old, and won,t take a cd writer, (combination of memory, psu and cpu).

All she requires is a system where she can use an office product, and the ability to back it up.

All pointers will be gratefully recieved.

P.s. I already have a case with a 350 watt psu.

I commonly use motherboards with intel 845 chipsets, which have on board graphics, sound and even a LAN port - plus the usual USB, parallel and serial ports.

Couple with a Celeron 2 to 2.4Ghz chip and a minimum 256Mb DDR RAM, and you won't have a real speed demon, but you will have a simple to setup, no problem, very stable system, which'll breeze through what you describe.

Don't be tempted to a 1.7GHz Celeron - it's an older spec chip.
