Can anyone help???

When I boot up I get a message saying “Access to the specified device, path or file is denied” Click on OK and I get “Could not load or run alevir.exe in the WIN.INI file. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the WIN.INI file” Click on OK and the boot up completes as normal……..

Alevir.exe exists in the Windows folder…..any ideas how to get rid of the message? What on earth is alevir.exe anyhow???
