ALB extension

Does anyone know of a free programme to convert a music file with the extension ALB into MP£ or WMA?

The only record I can find of .alb and music suggests they are playlist files from a Sony MP3 player.

Can you confirm where they are from and their file size.

I had trouble finding anything on Google, also.
My Grandson copied a couple of CD's to my Creative MP3 player while I was visiting. I transferred them to my PC when I got home but they will not play because of the file type. It is not a major disaster but I hate not being able to make things work. Thanks for your reply.

Had a look at the Creative site.

.alb files are the Album Art associated with the music and not the music itself.

That makes sense as the initials tie in. Thanks. I will persevere.

I have just bought one of these from Maplins but so far cannot get a squeak out of it in spite of having roof aerials and very strong signal. Scan does not produce any tv or radio. Anybody out there got one?
