AGP Graphics Cards

My current Evesham Quest 1Ghz AMD system has on-board graphics, but it has a free AGP slot. I only use it for DTP and Wordprocessing.

Any significant speed gains to be had by adding a budget priced AGP card for about £30?

With 64 Mbyte graphics memory, what is the highest resolution supported non-interlaced with true colour?

If you're not using it for games and suchlike, then I wouldn't bother. The only other option for getting a new card is if you want to increase your screen resolution at some point.

You are very adequately served. Unless into games you have nothing to gain and then a budget card would be worse rather than better.

Thought that one would be easy.
