Abit Saluro MX400 64Mb.

Is there a quick way of ascertaining the voltage of this card? Have searched Abit site.

Thanks Brian

Sorry if this is a silly question, but as the card will take its' supply from the AGP slot anyway, why do you want to know?

i seem to remember an article of which an extract is below.

quote
1.5V AGP cards have increasingly become a requirement of new motherboards/chipsets. If a motherboard requires a 1.5V AGP card and you place a AGP card in it that is not 1.5V, you will physically damage the motherboard and probably the video card as well. The following chipsets are known to require 1.5V AGP.

i am about to do an upgrade and wish to know if my card will be usable, as i don't wish to blow things up.

regards
