Advice/suggestions on laptop peripherals?

I wondered if anybody had any advice on the best selections I can make for the new laptop I am getting soon. I will shortly be receiving an Alienware m15x. This is intended as a desktop replacement. It will come with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I have resolved one of my needs, dual monitor support, but now wanted to think of the best way to add other components/peripherals with my more limited (compared to a desktop) port availability.

This is what I want:
* TV card (Needs to be RF or SCART, or I will require some kind of converter)
* Sound card (for 5.1 speakers, preferably Creative)
* External HDD
* External keyboard and mouse (I'd like Logitech's latest bluetooth bundle if it will work with the laptops internal bluetooth rather than their USB receiver?)

Connection-wise I will have available the following:
* 2x USB 2 (but one already in use for displaylink)
* 1x USB 2/eSATA combo
* 1x ExpressCard slot
* 1x Firewire

So any advice on best way to maximise my port usage, product advice, etc, would be appreciated. Should I maybe consider a generic laptop dock, and how reliable have people found this option?

Thanks in advance.
