Advice for My First PC Build

  triflesterm 11:59 28 Nov 2019

I'm sourcing parts for my first PC build that will be used mainly for music production and maybe occasional video editing.

I'm just undecided about a few options as well and not sure if I've over killed anywhere, my budget is £1200.

This is my build choice so far

  • AMD RYZEN 7 3700X

  • ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi)

  • Scythe Ninja 5

  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB

  • ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB SSD

  • EVGA GTX 1060 6GB {second hand)

  • Nanoxia Deep Silence 5

  • CORSAIR RMX Series, RM750x, 750 Watt

Options I'm undecided about>>

Options I'm considering

be quiet! Straight Power 10

Corsair 100R Silent ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair 750D Airflow Edition ATX Full Tower Case

Fractal Design Define R5 case

I'm after something that is really quiet, performs well and is future proof.

Please help
