I read a lot about uninstalling and reinstalling xp. At the moment thankfully i dont have a problem (yet). The thing is is if i had to take this drastic action, how could i as i have no xp disc nor do i have a recovery disc for my pc. when i bought my pc, xp was already installed. the only discs i got were the software for printer and scanner.

You'd need to buy a copy of XP then.

Cut myself of there...

Or go back to the supplier and ask them for a disk.

if you are still under warranty it should not cost you anything to get a recovery floppy that will enable you to install your xp if it came pre installed.give the support line for your manufacturer a call or ring the store/company you purchased it from.you should have at least got this when you purchased your computer and maybe master discs also if there is no hidden partition on your drive.

if you need to buy xp retail will cost you about click here may pick it up cheaper if your lucky.

click here and click on TOMS link. Don't think you will find it any cheaper than that. j.
