Advent 6411 Laptop system crash??
The system XPPro has crashed. The bios is setup with c: as the only bootable device but it has a password attached and i do not know what it is.
Is there a way to circumvent this and get the laptop to boot from floppy or cd
I did think about reseting the system but i don't know where the battery is located.

If you can get into the BIOS during the boot-up process, you may find that you can disable this password. I had this problem on a laptop which had the floppy disabled as a boot device, and the BIOS password protected, but still got round the problem this way.
