ADSL wireless?

Have Aol adsl connection but would like to add wireless adsl to network. I'd like to use wireless as backup in case of Aol malfunction (again). But, if adsl connection goes down, can I still access internet via wireless? Many thanks

If your ADSL connection goes down, no you cant access the internet unless you use a dial-up (non-ADSL) connection.
Wireless only allows you to connect wireless enabled devices to your network & use your existing ADSL connection.

I have ADSL (and yes, it's wireless) with Pipex, but I also have a dial-up (pay as you go, so costs virtually nothing) with Tiscali as a fall-back position if ever Pipex has a bad day and I can't access via BB. Wireless is simply "without wires" but it's the same BB connection whether there are wires trailing round the room or you are wire - less.
