Adobe Premier to DVD

I've just edited a small home movie using Adobe Premier but I'm clueless about how to get it onto a DVD.
I've exported it as an AVI but don't know if that's the right thing.
I'm bogged down in codecs, authoring, audio_ts and video_ts.
It's all Greek to me.
I'm aiming to use Nero 6 to burn.
Cheers,
Grezza.

The only movie format it appears to export as is AVI.

or separate mpeg2 encoder, MainConcept MPEG2 encoder or Canopus MPEG2 codec are great
