HELP! I'm trying to repair windows using the start-up disc, however it's asking for an administrator password which I wasn't aware that i had set one, all my usual passwords don't work. Is there a master password or something that can get round this problem?

Have you tried leaving the box blank and pressing Enter?

No probs - two opinions are better than one, especially when they agree ;o)

I'm using the recovery console on the manufaturers start up disc, i'm being prompted to eithier install windows or repair. I select the hard drive to repair, it asks for a password.
