Address Bar in Internet Explorer is Blank
When i open IE6 the address bar is empty. I have to click on the arrow and highlight an address before i can surf. Even if i click on 'Home' nothing happens, unless i enter an address manually.
Can you help please - i am new to all this!!
Your Home page might be set to "About Blank". Type in your home page and when it appears Go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab and click the Use Current button.
I checked this - it is set to Freeserve's home page - any other ideas??
On the start menu (not the desktop) right click Internet Explorer and click Properties.
You should see in Target:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (with the quotes)
But do you have "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome ?
If so delete the -no home.
Nice Try - but unfortunately i have exactly what you typed - without the no home! The only difference is the iexplore.exe" is in capitals on my system. Any other ideas??
