Try reinstalling the program on top of itself then try to uninstall. BTW, what is the name of the program? G

re-installing the program then uninstall or go the route of the following.

If you've uninstalled the program but just need to remove the entry in Add/Remove programs, then Tweak UI should do that for you - click here to download. G

I just use the search program in Windows to find all reference to files, and then delete from within it.

E.G..... "Start..Search..All Files and Folders"
Type in name of prog ("NORTON" for example) and when all ref to these files appear just right click on file and Delete.

Does not always find every ref but usually enough to clean up.

I then use a reg cleaner to get rid of any entries left in registry.
