Adding a Second Monitor

Is there a way to get a second monitor connected to my/any PC without an additional video card?.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You don't need an additional video card, but may well need a different one - ie one with a dual output.

Not unless your card supports dual-monitors or you buy one that does.

Thanks for that.
Does anybody know of some kind of USB adaptor that allows you to connect the 2nd monitor?

Never heard of one, I'm afraid. But there are more things under the sun ...

Apparently Windows XP can support upto 9 monitors running simultaneously, so how will that work? What kind of video card would you have to get?! Could you put a video card in a PCI port?

I found the answer, although I don't know if I will take it up just yet.

If you already have an agp card but not dual output it may be just as cost effective to buy one with dual outputs.
