Adding image signature to email in Outlook Express

  chesterfield 11:45 09 Apr 2005

Ive found lots of tutorials to help me do this but I still end up with a red x in the email where my image signature should be. I know there's a box that you need to tick to ensure all images are sent along with the email (which is the usual advice to avoid this problem)but this still doesnt work.

Ive tried setting up my image as stationary rather than as an email signature but this only
works when you create a new email and not when you reply to emails.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Ensure the path to your image is correct, also make sure the "signature" is stored in My Docs folder.I just tried to create a sig in OE to show you, only AOL removes OE.

Looking at the source code of the image it isnt actually correct. I can change this by editing the code for the current email but do you know how i can permanently amend the code so it will be correct for all future emails?

I have just found my old "signature.html" file,to make the changes permanent, you need to edit this(it should be in your My Docs folder)
