Thanks jimv7. As usual I had to do a manual download\install from click here. G

Ta much so for the update news!

  GaT7 20:46 20 Dec 2005

Stuartli, I don't know. It's been happening on & off over the past several weeks.

The updater downloads the defs file, then its version+date reverts back to the previous one.

An Ad-aware uninstall/reinstall doesn't seem to cure it - at least not for long.

I'm on NTL BB. G

Can't get anything more recent than SE1R82 19/12/05 ???

  GaT7 21:17 20 Dec 2005

I was on SE1R81 16.12.05 & ran the updater for SE1R82 19/12/05. The latter downloaded OK, but on completion the defs file reverted to SE1R81 16/12/05.

Very latest defs is SE1R82 19.12.2005, isn't it? According to click here it is. G

I've got SE1R82 19.12.2005 listed.

I just hit the Check for Updates button, then Connect and leave the rest to Ad-Aware...:-)

Crossbow7, I had/have the same prob. d/loaded several times always reverted to 16.12.05, then for no apparent reason, it updated to the new version.

Stuartli - "I just hit the Check for Updates button, then Connect and leave the rest to Ad-Aware" - I do exactly the same.

vinnyT, like yours, mine's an intermittent problem too.

Don't worry guys, I can live with it. G
