Active X

Whilst browsing a site the following message appeared "Your current security settings probit running Active X controls on this page" What does this mean and can I change the settings.

As with your previous cookies query I think you'll find that you've got the Security Level in NPFW set to high, blocking everything.

ps ActiveX controls are part of a web page used for pop-up menus etc.

If you trust the integrity of the site you're visiting they're OK.

Lillylou on the left side of NPFW window click Personal Firewall>Personal Firewall settings, click Custom Level and select the ActiveX Control setting that you want (3 options).
