The last time I bought a multi-function charger was from Maplins, and a few days later bought another similar device from an eBay Hong Kong seller at a much lower price including airfreight charges. On inspection, I was unable to find any difference between the two items, except the UK price being charged!.
Thank you. I have had a variable voltage multi tip for some years, but tend to keep it for emergency use rather than as a routine power supply, such devices as rarely smoothed as well as a dedicated device.

Not entirely. The colour normally indicates the output values, not just voltage, but va and wattage, and can
duffer across the range. For instance, my other Aspire, a 5745PG, similar in most respects, has a 19v yellow tip power supply. they are not interchangeable
