Does anybody know how I can access the data on a hard drive which I have removed from my old Macbook pro. The model number of the hard drive (Samsung) is MZ-JPV1280/0A4 and the Macbook was a 2013 MODEL

Thanks Fruit Bat, but can you recommend which caddy I would need for this hard drive. I bought this one recently and it doesn't work.

It probably works but windows can't see it.

read the link I posted to find drivers / software to read the disk.

You are the victim of the struggle between Microsoft and Apple.

They don't normally speak to one another without an intermediary.

I bought this one recently and it doesn't work.

You bought the wrong adapter so that's why it doesn't work.

I've had a good look, but I can't find with 100% certainty, a USB adapter that'll fit your specific storage device:

You may need to pop into your local Mac store and ask them for advice.

Thanks Secret-Squirrel, I though this might be the case. I'm presuming that because it's a drive used by Apple that it is therefore proprietary and I will need to speak to them about it. Damn it!
