A lot of good programs on there, but there is such a thing as "overkill".

If you have alot of programs running they will be using up your resources(cpu % memory space etc.).

More than one Antivirus program will conflict as will more than one firewall.

Bettter to use two or three anti spyware programs as they will catch what others may miss. beware some so called antipyware programs are rouges.

Advice from other users helps to know which ones work best and do not conflict or use to many resources.

My choice Firewall = Zonealarm (easy to set up)

Antivirus = Avast (autoupdates autoruns on screen saver, install and forget)

Antispyware = Spwareblaster (runs in the background stops alot from installing) Microsoft Antispy (Adaware and Spybot have found nothing since installing this)and A squared (very good for trojans)

Popup stopper basic (or use Firefox browser has one built in)

Mailwasher for spam

Will post the links for anyone that wants them.
