A2 Anti Malware and NIS 2007

  frostysnowman 14:32 04 Nov 2007

At present I am running Norton Internet Security 2007 together with Spyware Blaster, Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-aware (free edition) and A2 (free edition). On this months DVD cover disc there is the full version of A2 Anti Malware. I would like to install this but I am concerned that it might conflict with NIS 2007 since I already have real time protection enabled in NIS 2007. Can anybody please offer any advice on this. Thanks.

Personally I think you may be going a bit OTT.

ok here use nis2007,a2,adaware,superantispywhere,spyware terminator,avg antispywhere,spywere blaster.

I alternate the scans to get all round security.

Hi Friend, I only run AVG Free, Ad-Aware Free, Sunbelt Pers Firewall (paid for), Tune-up Utils 2006 with its one-click maintenance routine (paid for) and Diskeeper (paid for). And that's it - I have never had any security problems/nasties in the last six years, which is why IMHO having so many malware programs seems a bit OTT to me.

Plus of course Acronis - 'cos ya never know, know what I mean!

Thanks for all your advice. I ma still unsure however whether or not A2 Anti-Malware will conflict with NIS 2007 with the real-time protection enabled.

no it will not, ok on my pc with nis2007
