64 bit

How do I find out whether my laptop is 32 bit or 64bit.

I run XP, the processor is intel centrino systems info states it is x86 family 6 model 13 stepping 8, whatever that means? My laptop is Vaio vgna317m

Right click on my computer, choose properties.

Thanks but the page just tells me its a Sony Intel Pentium R M and processing speed of 1.73Ghz with 125Gb of ram

Thanks for that jimv7, it is a great little tool, sadly I still can't see where it tells me whether my computer processor is 32 bit or 64 bit?

just Googled and found an article written 4 months ago saying Pentium M's can't run 64 bit code, so I guess yours is 32 bit
