Ive just re installed windows xp, after fitting a new hard drive. However, it now says my processor (Athlon 3200)is running at 2.2, not 3.2 as it should bei dont really want to overclock to bring the speed up, so can anyone shed some light on this please? Thanks
Your CPU is supposed to run at 2.2,the AMD range of processors are confusing as they state its COMPARABLE to 3.2.
funky_demon,that is the correct speed for an Athlon 3200, Amd name their cpu's as close to the equivalent Pentium 4 , They run at a less powerful setting than the pentiums, but do more work per clock cycle.
Ok, thanksI think i just confused myself there!
