hi i was juz wondrin why some PCs especially gaming PCs have 3 hard drives???is it something to do with performance and speed???
Usually 2 hard drives are configured to Raid 0 and 1. It will speed up the data reading or writing process as both are on SATA. The last hard drive will be used as a backup for the both hard drives.
Two HDDs can be configured to RAID 0 OR 1 - it requires four disks to achieve RAID 0+1.
