2 Routers 1 ISP is it possible?

Lately I have been having alot of problems with talk talk broadband, which made me decide to change my ISP to Be, now they have sent me a pretty decent looking wireless router, I have my existing netgear DG834G which is connected to my sling box and also providing broadband in my room upstairs. Be has advise me to have my Be router plug into my first entry BT line which is downstairs, now my question is if I have both routers configured to Be settings for broadband, will it couse any problems or on the other hand would it make my connection stronger, meaning one router downstairs and one upstairs.

You cannot have 2 ADSL modems on the same line.

You can only connect via one router only.

You can use two routers, but not at the same time

using the DG834G as a repeater (Bridge mode).

You may have to upgrade to the latest firmware, but I know it's possible on the DG834GT, so in all probability, you could use yours in the same way.
