2 PC broadband connection

Broadband Modems generaly only get 1 IP address, but have a USB & Ethernet output. Easiest way to connect up 2 PCs is to use a router on the ethernet port. However is there any way that 2 PCs culd be connected, one using the USB and the other one via the ethernet.

No, you can't do it at the same time.

The next easiest will be a crossover cable linking up the two PCs using the onboard LAN while a USB cable from the PC to the USB connection on the Modem.
