2 Firefox Queries

  hawthorn59 22:22 14 May 2007

having recently re-formatted my laptop i hve 2 queries regarding Firefox.

(1) Is there a way to get links in OE emails to open automatically in Firefox rather than IE?

(2) My eyes are not what they used to be, and on a widescreen laptop the print seems even smaller! In my firefox browser I can increase text size by using CTRL and scroll mouse wheel, but is there any way to set this large size as default? I keep having to do it every time.

1 - set FireFox as default browser.

Tools, options, main (tab), always check FF is default browser, click check now.

Restart FF and it should do the job.

2 - sorry, don't know.

Make Firefox your default browser to open links in Firefox.

Font size:
Tools/Options/Content/Font and colours now change the font size and ok.

After tinkering with Firefox and text size,it looks like you have to manually do this on every tab either via the tools menu or view menu.

You may be best to lower your screen resolution to something like 800x600.
