Hello, 15 months ago i bought a Medion 19ins TFT monitor from Aldi, within the past month i have been having a problem when booting my machine, or returning from standy, the monitor shows just a blank white screen (maybe with grey streaks in it, the monitor model is: MD30919PO C12, i have tried switching graphics cards, changing resolutions and refresh rates, the only way i can get the monitor working is to turn it off and on upto 20 times! or unplug the DVI cable and plug it in the same way, I have also tried using the VGA cable with the same problem :(

Hi, does your monitor have its own psu, if so, can you possibly try a different psu?

  Arnie 15:37 24 Dec 2006

If Technotiger's advice does not work or the PSU is inbuilt.

Go to Medion's service page

look on the FAQ selection. As a last resort, ring their support Telephone: 0870 727 0370.
Unfortunately one of those dratted non 01/02 numbers.

I had this problem from new....my mum's boyfriend bought about the same time as benzo

i ended up with it for 2006 xmas pressie but tested it and it didnt work....white screen immediately

i used the 01793715698 number kindly provided by Howard64 after twenty mins on hold they said it was a definite problem and would exchange it (he said it was still under warranty)

can be as quick as three working days but can take upto 10 working days

the courier will take the "dud" one away and give a new one

try that benzo

Cheers for the helpful postings by TT, arnie and Howard
