128 RAM

I have a Pentium 4 system that has 256MB DDR 266 RAM (2 x 128) and a Matsonic MS9147C motherboard running XP

A few weeks ago, i received an error message when the windows logon screen was about to appear saying IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL...Dumping physical memory.

I decided to format the hard drive to get things working again. I have got ecerything reinstalled including all the motherboard drivers but Windows is only recognizing 128MB RAM although there is 256 (2 x 128).
If i go onto Aida32, that too only shows 128MB system RAM even though if i go into the SPD section of Aida 32, it gives information for BOTH 128MB RAM sticks.

I have changed BIOS settings to no avail, checked connecitons and even tried both RAM sticks individually with both of them working

Any help on how I can use all 256 again greatly appreciatled.

Will the benchmark test run in Aida32?
