Is Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 any good for gaming?

So I bought a new PC. It has Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 4 GB of RAM and Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000. Will I be able to run games without any trouble or should I upgrade?

Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 is an onboard graphics chip. Whilst you may get some low end gaming out of it i couldn't recommend it for more recent games, It will struggle badly.

my advice would be see if you have a PCI-E slot and buy a dedicated graphics card if you want to play newer games.

As suggested above it will handle flash games and older titles but the new games will struggle badly.

I'd suggest looking in the AMD Radeon or Nvidia Geforce camps after having a look at your power supply to see if it will handle you upgrading your video.
