Game server browser kills internet

  Lelo10 19:38 16 Feb 2019

So whenever i open server browser in GTA(fiveM) my internet dies. Apperently has something do to with it flooding my router with requests/dns flooding? i have googled to see if others have this issue, and it indeed seems so, and their solution is to use steams "Max pings per minute" a setting where you can limit the requests from a specific game. Problem is, i am not using steam to play, so is there a way to do the same thing, without steam?

Thanks in advance.
