Would an old phone benefit from Servicing

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Lte, and obviously it's getting a trifle long in the tooth but still fulfils all my needs.

My Question: Is there an equivalent of a Motor Car's Servicing arrangement that might invigorate it, and if so, how do I go about it?

Back to factory settings not do the trick.

There's not really anything to service.

My wife also uses an S3, and despite my encouragement to try a newer model she refuses to be parted from it. From time to time I check that all is well with it, and - like you - my wife says the phone suits her needs.

I imagine that the first sign of trouble will come from the battery.

Thanks FE, I replaced the battery a while back, when it only held its charge for a couple of hours or so.

I'll let sleeping dogs lie, then
