Seagate External HD, Cloud Backup

Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a Seagate 6tb External Hard drive and it say's on the sale description that I get free 200gb Cloud Storage with One Drive. However when I installed the Hard drive there was no prompt to set up the Free Cloud storage. Does anyone know what to do?

I've been on the 'Support' page on the Seagate website and the help on this subject is very sparse!

Many thanks

Stu

There might be an activation cut-off date printed on the outer packaging of your product. I your over that date then it might be too late to get this service.

After a little search I did found 2 reference to the 200gb cloud storage. The first I think stated it was only available in the US and the other stated "All the Seagate Backup Plus HDDs have the free 200 GB OneDrive storage for a couple of years, but that needs to be activated by June 2017." Amazon have 2 Months Free Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan.
