micro sd cards

Some help. On the DS Lite the micro SD card appears to work up to 2gb.

When using a micro SD HC card up to 4 gb it does not seem to work.

Any help on this please.

What's a DS Lite?

Some devices don't read HC cards

. . . but doing a quick google tells me there is a R4DS vIII which appears to support up to 8GB, maybe more.

So I assume you don't have a vIII.

The R4 SDHC version handles 4GB Micro SD cards if you use at least the 1.24 english version software

You can download it from here

I use 7zip to extract it to a folder when extracted you should have 2 folders and 3 _DS_ files if you have a lesser amount try downloading elsewhere

then format the SDHC card (for some odd reason it seems to work better in the DS that way)then copy the extracted files to the card at this point try it in the DS it should boot to the choices screen

If all goes well create a Games folder to copy your roms to

Cheers HC
