Huawei public Wi-Fi security problem?

  amanda_m 14:47 28 Dec 2018

I have just got a Huawei P20 pro but cannot connect to my works open Wi-Fi network. My other phones bring up an automatic login pop up which just requires clicking OK. The Huawei seems to sit on a website - connectivitycheck.gstatic.com/generate_204. Then jumps to another page which has scored out in red... It states the connection to the site is not secure.

How do I get around this?

I have read other forums which say to change the portal from captive to real. I have no idea how to do this.

Any help for someone who is technically challenged?

Pleaseeee & thank you :)
