DV Editing Buying Advice

  KW2K 22:57 22 Nov 2006

I've been using Pinnacle Studio over the past few years to do some video editing and I'm now in a position to upgrade to something better, this is where i would like some advice ! The one thing that annoys me with Pinnacle is the time taken to render a movie, so I want something that will render in real time. I have purchased Adobe Premier but need the hardware to go with it, can anyone please advise on the best option. I would rather spend a decent amount of money just now to save upgrading to something else later ! Any suppliers that are worth looking at ?

A fast Cpu, copious amounts of ram, a very fast hard drive and a fair bit of talent should suffice.
