copy protection???

i have a wedding dvd which i obviously want to show family and friends. only problem it has some form of copy protection. is there anyway of removing this??

Do a Google search for DVD Shrink,
this will solve your problem but don't pay for it there are plenty of free downloads.

it's technically illegal to make copies - the copyright holder is the person who created the DVD, even if it was of your own wedding.

Many people don't realise this, but it's a fact, and many wedding phographers will refuse to give you the negatives of your wedding photos unless you pay a copyright fee.

Agree with the FE. As a professional photographer and have done many weddings (still and video) the copyright remains with me.

You need to talk to the photographer who did the video to get more copies.

the photographer has moved abroad but is back in july, i am told. so i will have to wait until then :-(
