Canon a620 movies to DVD? Player

I have a Canon digital camera and when I record movies, I can't seem to be able to find a program that enables me to transfer the video to a DVD to watch on my home DVD player. I can only watch on my PC through Picasa!

If, like my Canon digicam, it records movies in AVI, you can import the video into Windows movie maker, edit it, add titles, etc, and save it in best size format as a WMV file.

You could then use the free DVD Flick to convert it, and burn to a DVD. I have done it, and it works fine. Easy!.
